They want strikers who will decide in their mind that they will be selfish and take the shot in that situation.
Then, a teammate comes along and asks for the pass to take the shot.Įgo then concludes his remarks by noting that Blue Lock is looking for egoistic strikers. During the last moments of the game, the striker has the ball, and the final play will decide the whole future of Japanese football. Imagine a situation where the striker is playing in the World Cup finals and time is running out. Just then, Ego explains to the crowd a hypothetical situation. He believes that what Ego is saying can't be right. Ego then advises all those who disagree with him to get lost, for they do not have what it takes to aim for the best in the world. Because of this, Ego expressed his rebuttals against Kira's points. Likewise, several other players present in the facility were also disagreeing with Ego. Isagi listens as Kira disagrees with Ego's proposal and way of thinking. After Ego finishes explaining the premise of his goal, Isagi wonders if his aims are even possible. Just then, Ego comes onto the stage in front of everybody and announces himself and his purpose.
